To guarantee the highest level of quality assurance and control is available to the employees on your project, all pre-hospital care is monitored by the Medical Director of IPS, Dr. Lewis. As a prehospital leader in EMS, Dr. Lewis has developed aggressive medical protocols necessary for remote, isolated worksites and long patient transport times. But not only is all our information and training current and funcitonal, so is our equipment. All ambulances, MTC’s and ETV’s are two years old or newer with a four year turnover. These units are medically equipped above industry standard for BLS with optional ALS when required. And our standard of equipment, staffing and training excellence exceeds all provincial industry standards.
IPS has a standard and understands the importance of recruiting and retaining top EMS personnel. In fact, our work force is that of over 200 EMS professionals that are orientated to the IRP#16 standards. The training and status of these personnel are tracked through a software program, and this affords IPS the opportunity to contact available staff to fill short notice requests.
