We at IPS are very proud to be regarded as a positive and proactive company by the Aboriginal Communities and their Leaders. As part of our initiative to build on our ongoing relationships with the First Nations, IPS has successfully implemented a Train to Employment program.
We are developing the strategy as part of our commitment to improving and enhancing employment and economic opportunities for our aboriginal partners. The result: The communities (often located hours from the nearest hospital) end up with added members who are prepared to respond to emergencies; IPS receives more skilled, capable workers to fill our growing need; and our customers have the chance to build better, more cohesive relationships with the aboriginal communities. That’s a triple-win in our book.
